THE COACH BEHIND THE PROGRAM

Troy Marrow.

Professional Infield Coach ยท Boca Raton, Florida

Troy Marrow spent years developing his craft inside professional baseball organizations coaching in the Baltimore Orioles organization and working in the front office for the San Francisco Giants.

He didn't build The Infield Factory to put a name on a website. He built it because he knows what it actually takes to develop elite infielders, and he couldn't find anyone else offering that work at the level players deserve.

Make Infield Simple Again.

-Troy Marrow

Our training sessions arenโ€™t built around random drills or keeping players โ€œbusy.โ€ Every drill has a purpose and is tied directly to how infielders move, throw and make decisions in a game. The goal is to create adaptable infielders who can transfer what they learn in training directly into the game.

โ€œWatching firsthand Troy's evolution from a player, to front office, to youth coach, to MILB coach, I can with full confidence say that his understanding and knowledge of the fine details of the game are second to none. His demeanor and ability to teach in a calm and constructive manner only makes his coach-ability more impressive.โ€

โ€œAs Troyโ€™s college coach at North Carolina Central University, I have had the privilege of watching him grow from a talented college athlete into a true professional in the world of baseball. His journey is a testament to his relentless dedication, skill, and passion for the game. During his college years, Troy displayed exceptional discipline and a commitment to excellence that set him apart from his peers. His transition to the coaching world only solidified his reputation as a dependable, hardworking player with a deep understanding of the game. His diversified coaching background from college, professional and USA Baseball is a perfect blend that helps him relate to all levels of talent.โ€

โ€œ

โ€œAs a college coach, one of the most frustrating things with some incoming players is a lack of Baseball IQ and understanding of what fundamental baseball is. Troyโ€™s work to reintroduce that aspect to the youth of the game will be instrumental in each playerโ€™s development and development of the game as a whole.โ€

OUTSIDE THE FIELD

Beyond Baseball

Troy is based in Boca Raton, Florida, where he coaches, trains, and runs The Infield Factory alongside his wife Alexandra. When he's not on the field or traveling with MLB Develops, he's building something that outlasts any single season a program that changes how young infielders see themselves and their potential.
